There was no proper building from which we could systemically distribute. And people not only sheltering in the monasteries but families from the village came pouring in for lineup. So, we decided to distribute quota in terms of per family and not per person.( Coz in terms of per person, would not have been enough ). There was two separate lineups. One line distributing rice and clothes per family and the other for the kids, to whom we offered boiled eggs, bread and clothes.

Number of Families across the village area : around 700
Number of Families able to distributed : approx 625
Distribution quota per family : 1 Rice bag / Clothes
Distribution quota for children : 1 Boiled egg/ Clothes / Bread
Distribution for monastery use : 3 Rice bags/ 1 Salt bag / 50 Carbolic soap / Candles & Materials to build 5 new toilets. ( Zinc nails for roof / Plastic toilet plate or seat / Plastic cup and bucket / pipe )
Last Sunday, we went to two monasteries around Kawt Hmu area for distribution. And we send two separate emails for the two monasteries distributed.. We will send the collection and expense list ASAP and try to send a more detailed info soon. Pls note that the donations came from our group fund AND from other donors. In total, we distributed, 50 rice bags / 2 salt bags / 100 carbolic soap/ Candles / New & old clothes / 5 sets to build toilet / 1000 boiled eggs/ Bread and Medicine. Like most of our trips, we invited doctors on the trip for a one-stop clinic. Below, have attached photos of scenery and distribution in the first monastery.
